Qatch talks about the importance of personalizing shopping experiences through SMS marketing via affiliate channels during the holiday season.
When and why was your company founded?
Qatch was founded in 2020 to address a problem faced by Nicole and Raquel, co-founders of Qatch. This was the overwhelming amount of choices available online. They were frustrated that brands were not personalizing the products displayed to their browsing habits and were therefore unable to capture this behavior. So they turned to technology to solve the problem for the many millions of U.S. shoppers who felt the same way.
What makes your company stand out from other affiliate companies?
SMS is the most effective billboard money you can spend today. We’re now introducing brands to our 65K loyal users. Advertisers can take advantage of the 99% open rate and 40 percent+ click-through rates offered by SMS marketing, without needing to pay to acquire the shopper.
Is there a turning point or pivotal moment in your affiliate activities over the past 12 months? What was the turning point?
Yes. Yes. We have been able to identify the issues and have renegotiated our partnership terms. This has allowed us to promote brands more effectively as Safari is now the default browser.
What are the main factors that you consider when deciding which programs to join? And what qualities should you look for from an advertiser partner? We are the middle to top of the marketing funnel, driving incremental revenue, and we do not play the last-click publisher role. Our reputation, product quality and ability to partner with us are key factors.
Qatch should promote minority-owned brands and female owned brands.
Qatch was founded in 2009 by two women who understand firsthand the difficulties faced by minority and female brands when trying to get funding. Qatch was created to help shoppers find the best brands in one place. This is a favorite feature of Qatch. In fact, more than 55% of members ask for ethical/sustainable or female brands when signing up. We know that we are connecting with them positively.
What is the importance of sustainability efforts by advertisers to Qatch
Although we don’t work exclusively with sustainable brands we do prefer them due to their positive impact on our users as well as the higher conversion rates they see. We highlight whether a recommendation is ethical or sustainable in the text conversation. This ensures that the brand’s impact is clear before the shopper visits their website. This information is more effective than similar products that do not mention a social impact. On average, it leads to 22% more clicks.
Qatch is looking for unique categories when it comes to advertising partners.
Because our users are diverse in age, gender, and style, we can work with advertisers of any size. We love working with brands who can accommodate our unique sizing requests, as most of our users identify with one of the following categories: tall, petite, plus or pregnant.
Qatch is available to Awin Group merchants. Please contact your account representative or email our publisher management.
